Dear Parishioner
This election is taking place when we are facing times of uncertainty. Financial markets are volatile and world-wide recession appears increasingly probable. Jersey will not be immune from these external events.
As a parish, St Clement must also confront the issues of over-development, a struggling infrastructure and a lack of community facilities.
We need to take steps to address these issues. I have a proven track record. I am not afraid of taking difficult decisions or of disagreeing with my colleagues. An accountant by profession, I bring my experience and knowledge of the world of finance to these problems.
I have been grateful for the opportunity to represent this Parish over the last 3 years. If re-elected I will continue to work hard for the Parish and for each parishioner.
I pledge myself to serve St Clement and the Island and would value one of your votes on 26 November 2008.
